Overview of Cashew Company

  Established in 1948, Cashew Company was so named because it pioneered the use of natural cashew nut shell oil to make coatings. It has a total of 3 factories, Da Gong factory (HQ), Kuki factory, and Osaka factory, with total assets and annual turnover amounting to 150 million yen and 8.2 billion yen respectively. Worldwide, it has partner companies in Germany, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand, Britain, America, and China.

  Cashew Company’s products are categorized by their uses: wooden varnish used for furniture, plastic coatings and UV varnish used for mobile phone and household electrical appliances, as well etc.

  In recent years, Cashew has been aiming to enter the market for coatings used on branded products. Such products include Motorola, Nokia, Siemens, Sony Ericsson, Toshiba, NEC, and so on.
